A New Birth of Infamy

On November 5th, 2024, a date
fixed in ignominy, the United States of America
was surrendered after a half-hearted scuffle.

I regret to tell you that in the days that followed
the occupying power drew from the depths of our nation
collaborators pledged to disfigure our institutions
and irreparably change our way of life.

A state of emergency is promised
that will take families from their homes
and expel them from this country, surpassing,
I am compelled to note, Executive Order 9066.

Military and law enforcement personnel
will serve an unleashed Caesar crowned by a complicit judiciary.
Truth will lodge in (pause) compliant throats.

Our allies must confront their enemies alone
and may find us arrayed against them.
Our progressive society, the achievement of generations,
will travel back in time to the land of cotton.

And the greatest peril humanity has faced,
the accelerated destruction of a living world,
shall be ignored to briefly guarantee
the dominance of a bunker elite.

Always will our nation remember the character
of the onslaught against us.

No matter how long it may take us to overcome
this premeditated assault, the American people
in their righteous might will win through to victory.

We will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost
but will make it very certain
this form of suicidal folly shall never threaten us again.

Hostilities exist. There is no blinking
at the fact that the continuance of life
as we have known it is in danger.

With confidence in our strength, with the unbounded determination
of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph.

I ask my fellow Americans to declare
that since the dastardly defeat on November 5th
of the party of Merrick Garland
a state of war has existed
between a fossil confederacy and the human race.
